Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Venue

Taxis/Uber

The transfer from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport typically takes around 40-50 minutes, and the charges for this service are approximately NT$1,200 – NT$1,400.

The transfer from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to either Songshan Airport or Taipei Main Station takes approximately 50-60 minutes, and the charges for this journey are approximately NT$70- NT$135.

Both A12 Terminal 1 and A13 Terminal 2 offer express and commuter trains for transportation. The transfer from the airport to Taipei Main Station takes approximately 40-50 minutes, with a cost of around NT$150. Upon arrival at Taipei Main Station, you can then take the Taipei Metro and transfer to JianNan Road Station.

Upon arrival at Taipei Main Station, the commute to JianNan Road Station takes approximately 20 minutes. From JianNan Road Station, it is a 7-minute walk to the venue.

Taipei Songshan Airport to Venue

The venue is conveniently located just a 20-minute drive away from Taipei Songshan Airport.

Taxis/Uber

It takes approximately 15 minutes to travel from the airport to the venue, with charges amounting to around NT$ 200 based on the current rates.

Buses

It takes approximately 30 minutes to travel from the airport to the venue, and the fares may be settled with coins, or using the EasyCard (Taiwan’s multi-purpose public transportation and electronic cash card). A single trip within the city costs NTD 15, while longer routes may require payment upon boarding and alighting from the bus.

It takes approximately 5 minutes, spanning 2 stops, to travel from Songshan Airport to the venue.
The walking distance from Metro JianNan Road Station to the venue is approximately 1km, which takes around 7 minutes.

Getting Around Taipei

It takes only 35 to 45 minutes to drive from Taoyuan Airport to downtown Taipei.
To reach the City, various means of transport are available to passengers, including the Taoyuan Airport MRT, buses, taxis, or car rental.

Taxis/Uber

Queues for the characteristic yellow Taiwan taxis can be found across major establishments throughout the city. They may also be hailed along the road, or booked via mobile applications such as Uber or Yoxi. Please be advised that most drivers communicate only using Mandarin Chinese or Taiwanese.
A taxi ride from Taoyuan International Airport to Taipei City will cost around NTD 1200, while a ride from Songshan Airport will cost around NTD 500. Fares are settled in cash, and only NTD are accepted.

Taipei bus routes cover the whole city, and are a great way to explore the sights in depth. Fares may be settled with coins, or using the EasyCard (Taiwan’s multi-purpose public transportation and electronic cash card). A single trip within the city costs NTD 15, while longer routes may require payment upon boarding and alighting from the bus.

The Taipei MRT, also referred to as the Taipei Metro, is the most convenient and often the fastest way to get around Taipei. Trains typically arrive every 3 to 5 minutes, with average transit time between stations at 2 minutes. Please be advised that smoking, eating, drinking and chewing gum are prohibited inside all MRT stations.

One-way or single journey tokens may be purchased from ticket machines located at the entrance of all stations. Day passes, multi-day passes and the EasyCard may be purchased from the station’s information desk or customer service center.

Youbike stations are located outside every MRT station, as well as most major tourist destinations in Taipei. Payment may be settled via credit card at the YouBike station kiosks for those who intend on taking single trips. If you have an EasyCard, you may also use this for payment, after signing up on the official website/ mobile application. Fares are as follows:
NTD 10 per 30 min (or part thereof) for the first 4 hours
NTD 20 per 30 min (or part thereof) from 4 to 8 hours
NTD 40 per 30 min (or part thereof) after 8 hours
